Is Telemedicine Done via Phone Call, Video Conference, or Both?
We offer both phone calls and video conferences as a way to access your telemedicine visit. At Hillcroft Physicians, we understand that your everyday life is not so simple, and we want to provide quality care with a flexible approach.
When you call to schedule your appointment, check-in with the staff about any complications you may experience for telemedicine services, such as difficulty with Wi-Fi connectivity or phone service. We humanize health care, and we want to work with you through any obstacles to get the help that you need.
Which Services are Available through Telemedicine?
A majority of our services are available to schedule your appointment through telemedicine. However, there are limitations that have to be considered due to the need for health care equipment.
All of our physical examinations are not available through virtual visits. Vaccinations cannot be administered unless you are in the clinic. Any lab work that needs to be completed is preferred to be present in the office unless otherwise stated by your healthcare provider.
If you are interested in telemedicine services, consider what you need to be taken care of and ask questions to the clinic and your physicians. You may need to come in for an initial visit, but afterward, it is possible routine visits for your treatment can be scheduled as telemedicine.
Does the Clinic Accept the Same Insurance for Telemedicine?
Yes, Hillcroft Physicians offers the same 50+ health insurance plans, including Affordable Care Act plans. You can check the full list of providers we accept on our website. Health coverage is essential to financially protect you from high, unexpected costs due to a serious accident or illness. Our team of expert doctors is dedicated to helping you.
We strongly recommend checking in with your insurance provider to check if your policy covers telemedicine. Otherwise, you will have to pay out-of-pocket expenses.
